OneTime OneTime Mishnayos
Engaging and clear, like a story.
Every evening, boys fill the beis medrash to learn a perek of Mishnayos and find out for themselves how geshmak learning can be.
The program
OneTime OneTime Mishnayos is a clear, high-energy shiur where boys learn one perek of Mishnayos a night, four nights a week, with Thursday set aside for review.
Every class comes with visuals and handouts full of pictures and diagrams, review sheets and optional tests, so the learning is clear and it sticks. Points, prizes and raffles keep the energy up all week long.
Under Rabbi Eli Scheller, it has become a shiur boys genuinely look forward to. The goal is simple: help every boy love learning and learn as much as he can, in a healthy way that lifts him up and never pushes him.
One perek a night, taught with visuals, diagrams and handouts the boys take home and keep.
Review night, and it ends the way it should: with a hot cholent.
A siyum for the whole group, because finishing something is worth stopping for.
A trip, the whole chabura together. The points earned in the shiur count toward it.
Meet the rebbe
Rabbi Eli Scheller is a mechanech with a real talent for making Torah come alive for children. Originally from New York, he learned for many years in Eretz Yisrael and received semicha from Rabbi Yitzchak Berkovits.
Over the years he has taught thousands of children and families through his shiurim, stories, music and educational programs. His energy, his clear explanations and his visuals bring each Mishnah to life and make it stay with the boys.
He now lives in Ramat Beit Shemesh, where he leads the nightly Mishnayos program: a perek an evening, review games, incentives, and a real personal connection with every boy who walks in.
Where Mishnayos comes alive
From the beis medrash
Rabbi Scheller's Mishnayos program is transformative for our kids in RBS. It takes Mishnayos and makes it come alive. It's fulfilling, exciting and fun. It's not just a shiur, it's like a family. Between trips, cholent, siyumim and more, it creates a very elevating environment for our kids.A parent in Ramat Beit Shemesh
What began as a learning program has turned into a chabura of boys who want to be there.
They come early, they put their hands up, and they are proud of what they finish. That confidence walks out of the beis medrash with them.
